Clayton Barhorst, MD
About Dr. Barhorst
Dr. Clayton Barhorst is a board-certified pain management specialist with comprehensive expertise in interventional pain procedures and anesthesiology. He completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Virginia and his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Barhorst earned his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, summa cum laude, from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Barhorst offers a wide range of minimally invasive procedures to treat chronic pain, including epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injections, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, spinal cord stimulator implantation, and joint injections for small to large joints such as the wrist, shoulder, hip, and knee.
He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, and holds Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. Additionally, Dr. Barhorst is trained and certified in Balloon Kyphoplasty by Medtronic.
Raised in the Klein area, Dr. Barhorst enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children and is an active member of his church community.
